FARO Technologies Signs Preferred Supplier Agreement With Vought Aircraft Industries

LAKE MARY, Fla., July 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Leading manufacturer of 3D measuring equipment and software, FARO Technologies Inc. (Nasdaq: FARO), announced it has recently signed a worldwide preferred supplier agreement with Vought Aircraft Industries Inc., the world's largest independent supplier of aerostructures.

The preferred supplier agreement follows the projected expansion of Vought's use of FARO CAM2 (Computer-Aided Manufacturing Measurement) products including the 3D articulating FaroArm(R) and CAM2 software(R). The agreement will apply to Vought's corporate headquarters in Dallas, Texas, and other product-focused assembly sites in Hawthorne, Calif., Stuart, Fla., Milledgeville, Ga., and Perry, Ga.
