FARO Hosts Analyst Day - March 14, 2014

LAKE MARY, Fla., March 7, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- FARO Technologies, Inc., (Nasdaq: FARO) the world's most trusted source for 3D measurement, imaging and realization technology, will host an Analyst Day on Friday, March 14, 2014 at their Global Headquarters in Lake Mary, FL.

Event attendees will learn about the latest developments in the 3D marketplace as well as the company's direction and strategic outlook. As part of the conference agenda, there will be presentations by leading industry experts including Mr. Eugene Liscio and Mr. William Bonner.  

Mr. Eugene Liscio is a registered Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario, Canada and is currently the President of the International Association of Forensic and Security Metrology (IAFSM). Mr. Liscio is an instructor at the University of Toronto, Mississauga where he teaches a 3D Forensic Reconstruction course as part of the Forensic Sciences Program.  He is also actively engaged in research and validation studies pertaining to 3D Scanning technologies and their application in the Forensic Sciences.  Mr. Liscio is also the owner of AI2-3D, a consulting company that specializes in 3D forensic reconstructions using laser scanners, total stations and photogrammetry for law enforcement and legal industries.

Mr. William Bonner is the co-founder and President of Dimensional Engineering, Inc., a company that provides design and production engineering solutions for a number of industries including automotive, aerospace, construction, and power & energy generation. Mr. Bonner entered the world of metrology in 1980 as a Journeyman Model Maker.  He is recognized as a pioneer in the use of non-contact laser scanning and laser tracking for reverse engineering, as well as other applications of 3D digital data capture and analysis.
